The four big buoys have integrated the 20 modular plastic buoys (6 ton net buoyancy) which were supplied to Saipem in 2004 for the same project.<br \/>\n<strong>The four buoys were made<\/strong> with 18 independent modules in reinforced plastic material and filled with high density polyurethane foam. The modularity and filling make them unsinkable and give the possibility of continued use even in the event of partial damage.
