Tilting mooring buoys in Noumea, New Caledonia: the order for the Sogadoc Terminal (Societe des Gaz d’Oceanie) for anchoring small boats.<\/p><\/div>\n

Two big Resinex tilting mooring buoys<\/strong> have been recently supplied in Noumea, New Caledonia: the order has been handled by the French company Levasud<\/strong> and the final destination was the Sogadoc Terminal<\/strong> (Societe des Gaz d’Oceanie<\/strong>). Sogadoc is a subsidiary of Total Pacific<\/strong>, through which it subcontracts the transport of LPG to other companies.<\/p>\n

The two tilting mooring buoys have a net buoyancy of 12900 kg each, a diameter of 4,3 m, a height of 1,1 m and 2 hooks with a SWL of 100 tons each.<\/p>\n

As always, safety has been a priority<\/strong>: the buoys are equipped with a rubber fender and 2 bollards that allow a secure docking with small boats (for maintenance purposes, for example), 3 handles in stainless steel, a\u00a0guardrail and anti-slip strips for the safety of workers.<\/p>\n

A marine lantern within a protective frame is placed on the top of the guardrail.<\/p>\n

The order was confirmed in December 2019 and the buoys reached the Sogadoc Terminal in New Caledonia just after 2 months, in February 2020.<\/p>\n
