SIT Prodotti<\/b>, a historic and well-established company based in Taranto specializing in marine systems, has chosen Resinex technology<\/b> to address a significant security need at the Italian Navy\u2019s Naval Station in Taranto<\/b>.<\/p>\n

In late autumn 2024, a 270-meter<\/b> Resinex anti intrusion barrier was installed to secure the water area where military ships are moored.<\/p>\n

The barrier features a series of 110-centimeter diameter floats, combined with star-shaped beaks, designed to deter and obstruct unauthorized entry into the naval station\u2019s waterbody. The system includes a reinforced connection between the floating sections and a mooring point, with a Resinex PEM 16×1000 buoy<\/b> with 4 hooks that serves as the reference point for the opening system. The complete barrier was supplied in 8 weeks and installed in just a few days.<\/p>\n<\/div>
