{"id":8926,"date":"2025-11-27T10:17:04","date_gmt":"2025-11-27T09:17:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.resinextrad.com\/en\/?p=8926"},"modified":"2025-11-27T12:28:55","modified_gmt":"2025-11-27T11:28:55","slug":"from-polar-waters-to-the-mariana-trench","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.resinextrad.com\/en\/from-polar-waters-to-the-mariana-trench\/","title":{"rendered":"From Polar Waters to the Mariana Trench"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When it comes to deep-sea diving, the name <strong>Resinex<\/strong> is inevitably in the spotlight.<\/p>\n<p>In 2024 and 2025, our syntactic blocks enabled access to some of the most remote places in the ocean, strengthening our position alongside leading research centers and opening new frontiers for oceanology.<br \/>\nIn 2024, the <strong>Alfred Wegener Institute<\/strong> commissioned us to produce 24 syntactic blocks to be installed on a ROV, designed not only to operate at great depths but also to withstand the extreme conditions of the Arctic Circle, among ice and sub-zero temperatures.<\/p>\n<p>This unique two-component material demonstrated once again its extraordinary reliability: it withstands extremely high marine pressures and, thanks to its density being lower than water, lightens complex structures such as ROVs, allowing the safe recovery of the machine.<\/p>\n<p>Building on a successful collaboration that began in 2020, at the start of 2025 <strong>KC Denmark<\/strong> once more turned to <strong>Resinex<\/strong> to produce 36 syntactic blocks, each weighing 44.2 kg and providing a net buoyancy of 18 kg. These blocks were installed on a lander destined for the Mariana Trench, the deepest points in the Pacific Ocean. The Danish company chose <strong>Resinex<\/strong> with the confidence of finding a trusted partner, capable of meeting all the requirements of such a complex project.<br \/>\nThanks to these collaborations, <strong>Resinex<\/strong> reaffirms its role as a global benchmark for marine applications and research, guaranteeing safety and robustness even under the most extreme conditions known
